Well 2021 is over and it is time to do a yearly review. I mean why not? Businesses do something similar quarterly. I am a true believer in personal growth and learning from one's mistakes and successes.
What I learned in 2021:
God's Love and Grace is real. It is not only real to our neighbor but even more eminent and real for us. His Grace indeed led me through the year and has been sufficient for me.
Things happen for us and not against us: How much of a blessing these words are. I learned over the course of the year that I needed to turn my perception in a different direction in order to appreciate better every season in my life, past and present
Happiness is inherent and irrespective of our surroundings.
The Grass is definitely not greener on the other side; it is greener where you water it
It is okay to ask for help because we were not created to be an island and on our own, we need others in order to thrive and survive. We need each other
Gratitude and anxiety cannot coexist so choose gratitude. I know this is really hard for a lot of us especially this generation, because of all that we are exposed to on social media. We see snip bits of people's lives and automatically compare our own to theirs. True contentment is found at the footstool of gratitude and in the absence of anxiety and worry.
